On-site paging systems are used by manufacturers, hotels, restaurants, hospitals and other users who require short range immediate notification. A system typically consists of a paging terminal, base station & associated pagers. Systems can be voice, numeric or alphanumeric or a combination of those formats. Leavitt Communications supplies the original Motorola Peoplefinder LT & Plus models, Visiplex & Peopletracker units for smaller systems . These units can have internal, low power transmitters or interface with external, high power transmitters.
